Registered Midwife: Emily Davis, RM
Our Mother & Baby Unit has a dedicated and experienced Registered Midwife who is passionate about providing personalised care to expectant mothers. Her expertise in midwifery enhances the support for our residents. Care includes:
Comprehensive prenatal education to support healthy pregnancies, prepare mothers for childbirth and the early postpartum period.
Comprehensive antenatal assessments and care plans, offering guidance and support throughout pregnancy.
Postpartum care, assisting new mothers with breastfeeding, infant care, and emotional well-being.
Newborn assessments, including feeding, bathing, and ensuring the well-being of the baby.
Our Midwife's presence on our team ensures that our residents have a supportive and knowledgeable guide throughout their pregnancy and childbirth journey that promotes Parent Infant Bonding, supports young mother's mental wellbeing and adaption to parenthood, collaborates with other agencies to support families and long-term independence for young parents.
Our Specialist Educational, Communication, and Neurodevelopmental Outcomes (SECNO) consultant. He specialises in addressing the specific learning needs of individuals in our care. Expertise includes:
