Job Overview

We are currently seeking empathetic and dedicated Registered Service Manager to lead our team.  As the Registered Service Manager, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and empowering atmosphere for our residents and staff.


Job Description


Service Management and Compliance:

  • Develop, implement, and regularly review policies and procedures to ensure alignment with the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023 and best practices.
  • Prepare for and lead the service through the OFSTED inspection process, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain effective oversight of all supported accommodation settings, ensuring high-quality service delivery.


Staff Management and Development:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of staff, ensuring professional development through training and supervision.
  • Promote a culture of trauma-informed and person-centred care.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring all staff possess the necessary skills and qualifications.
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals and promote continuous improvement.


Resident Care and Safeguarding:

  • Develop and oversee personalised support plans to address the unique needs, goals, and aspirations of each young person.
  • Implement and maintain robust safeguarding policies to protect residents from harm, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Promote the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of residents through trauma-informed approaches.


Operational and Financial Management:

  • Manage budgets effectively to ensure the efficient use of resources without compromising care quality.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to maintain a safe living and working environment.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained in line with confidentiality and data protection regulations.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external agencies, including local authorities, healthcare providers, and families.
  • Encourage residents’ participation in community activities to promote social inclusion and independence.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for service enhancement and lead initiatives to improve outcomes for residents.
  • Establish systems to gather and act on feedback from residents, staff, and stakeholders to inform service improvements.
